In the latest episode of The Walking Dead, “Strangers” (S05-Ep2) we are introduced to Father Gabriel Stokes. As our band of survivors does a sweep of Gabriel’s church to be certain it is clear, we see a brief shot of the Bible verses listed for a service, most likely the final sermon Gabriel gave to his flock before…well…comic fans know where this is going. Here is the subject matter, in order, for what would become the final service held at this little Episcopal church in the woods:
